Selling Your Home on Long Island

How much is my house worth in today's Long Island market?

Written and reviewed by Andrew Ragusa, Licensed Real Estate Broker and Broker of Record, REMI Realty LLC — 11+ years of transactions across Long Island, Brooklyn and Queens.

The short answer

To accurately determine what your home is worth, we sit down together and review comparable sales. I visit the property to assess its condition firsthand, then pull recent sales data from the last three to six months in your neighborhood. We compare asking prices to actual sold prices and evaluate the condition of comparable homes. By the end of that process, we arrive at a realistic listing price based on what similar properties have actually sold for in the current Nassau and Suffolk County market — whether you're in Commack, Kings Park, Hauppauge, Syosset, Levittown, or anywhere in between.
